Abstract

This paper highlights the pioneering and inspiring role in surgery and anesthesia of two prominent Argentinian doctors. In both respects, this role has been embodied in two films that have become the first Argentine and world film documents. Hence the relevance of remembering them, emphasizing their work, pointing out its important influence, and specifying where to find it today for those who undertake the beautiful adventure of learning and practicing Medicine.
