Opinion survey on prestational quality of the workplace in a public hospital service

Abstract

The primary objective of this work was to observe the current performance of all areas of the Day Hospital Service at the Hospital Provincial del Centenario in the city of Rosario, in order to enhance the work quality and the interpersonal relationships of the Service. The Day Hospital is a multidisciplinary unit in which outpatient treatments are performed, both in the surgical and clinical areas, addressing the hospital needs, specifically in the units of Onco-Hematology and other pathologies. In order to achieve the mentioned objective, we conducted a semi-structured opinion survey about the workplace quality with 55 members of the staff who work at the Day Hospital. The topics included in such survey were: general perception, acknowledgement of the workplace, acknowledgement according to the role, work environment and training, and information.
